Key achievements include productisation of technology deployments to customers, with major reduction in project delivery time (from 9 months to 3 months). Executive oversight of Evolution Healthcare's health & wellbeing portfolio of businesses, including: - Proactive, operating a network of 40+ physiotherapy and outpatient rehabilitation clinics across New Zealand, - WOHC Health (rebranded as Proactive Occupational Health), providing occupational health and workplace health services New Zealand-wide, and - Re-Centre (fully integrated into Proactive), the group's former specialised outpatient mental health clinic in Auckland CBD. Key achievements: - M&As: leading the successful merger of Proactive, WOHC Health, and Re-Centre operations under Evolution Healthcare's Health & Wellbeing portfolio. - Business transformation: leading the technological and cultural transformation of portfolio businesses. Key achievements included the significant shift in organisational culture and associated improvement in staff engagement and retention, and the significant uplift in operational efficiency. This was primarily driven through the re-engineering of antiquated systems and processes and/or the development and implementation of automated workflows to drive efficiency in operations. - Business Intelligence: leading the full development and implementation of the organisation's Business Intelligence/ Power BI system and development and implementation of automated key performance indicators, including financial, operational, clinical and customer experience. Implementation of data driven decision making across frontline, regional and senior management with significant improvement in financial performance. Strategic and operational leadership of Learning Support services. Leading a team of Managers and 100+ professionals, primarily Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Therapists, and Education Advisors. Key achievements: - Transformational change: Developed and implemented the organisation's new service delivery model ‘Te Manawa Tahi’. Key outcomes: doubled organisational productivity and halved wait times for specialist services, at the time the shortest wait times across New Zealand. Finalist at the 2020 Prime Minister's Spirit of Service Awards, Service Excellence category. - Successful business case presented to the NZ Government resulting in $160Million funding boost to the national Ongoing Resourcing Scheme programme.

Transformational change role leading the development, implementation and day-to-day management of the organisation's clinical performance management system across 4 hospitals and 20+ clinical departments. Key achievements: - Winner of the 2015 Ko Awatea International Excellence in Health Improvement Award for ‘Outstanding Leadership in Quality Improvement’ - Initiation of 100 clinical performance improvement projects over the 3- year period, such as: Intensive Care Unit: Implementation and evaluation of telemedicine methodologies (NEMO videoconferencing) to determine mode and category of transfer of ICU patients between hospitals. Awarded Best Paper Award at Success and Failures in Telehealth 2016 Conference in Auckland, NZ. General Medicine Department: Use of CTPA scanning in the assessment and clinical management of patients at risk of pulmonary embolism. Awarded 1st prize for trainee poster presentation at the 2016 Royal Australasian College of Physicians conference in Adelaide, Australia, and Best Registrar Grand Round Presentation, 2016, Auckland Hospital. Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Oncology Departments: A joint clinical improvement initiative targeting the reduction of wait times across the gynaecological cancer pathway. Published in the New Zealand Medical Journal (C Askew et al. 2016).

Strategic and operational leadership of clinical embryology services. Member of the Executive Leadership Team. Leading a team of 4 Managers and 26 clinical embryologists across 4 geographies. Key achievements: Organisational Strategy: Implementation of key investment initiatives, including new clinical products and services such as PICSI (Physiological Intra-cytoplasmic Sperm Injection), IMSI (Intracytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection), and SCSA (Sperm Chromatin Structure Assay) in collaboration with Malaghan Institute of Research. Mergers & Acquisitions: Standardisation of clinical embryology operations in newly acquired IVF centers. Total Quality Management: Managing ISO 9001:2008 and NZS 8181:2007 quality standards. Continuous improvement of product and service quality through benchmarking, statistical process control, business process re-engineering and incremental improvement (participation and promotion of quality circles and kaizen).

Clinician role performing a variety of clinical tasks and services: - Patient engagement and treatment coordination and management, - Retrieving and evaluating eggs and sperm from patients or donors, - Preparing and inseminating eggs with sperm using techniques such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), - Culturing and monitoring the development of embryos, - Selecting and transferring the best embryos into the uterus of the patient or surrogate, - Freezing and storing excess eggs, sperm, or embryos for future use, - Performing genetic testing or screening on embryos or gametes, - Maintaining quality control and safety standards in the laboratory, - Documenting and reporting the results and outcomes of the procedures. Simultaneously to working in a full-time role, I have also completed a doctorate (Ph.D.) in clinical research analysing human ovarian function and developing qualitative molecular markers for selection of human oocytes for fertilisation and embryo replacement.

Leadership role focused on the development and implementation of strategies for the accreditation and continuous professional development of clinical embryologists and andrologists (Scientists in Reproductive Technologies) in Australia and New Zealand.
