* Led of team of process analysts, overseeing details of day-to-day operations from comprehensive vendor training to forecast/PO management, pre-shipment inspection and logistics arrangement with 3PL to meet order fulfillment target. * Supported Line Review of 30 categories in a year by understanding each category’s Sourcing G&O and Margin targets, supporting OTB and global sourcing strategies, and carrying out procurement activities including the participation in vendor selection, spend / purchase analysis, TCO analysis, Total Lead time analysis, inventory strategies, SC metrics optimization, material commitment program, performance scorecard review, channeling analysis, and sourcing regions research, etc. * For seasonal/new/strategic/high-value SKUs, collaborated with preferred suppliers on strategic plans to secure on-time delivery. * Supported Transportation team in freight forwarder management in APAC – to implement space allocation plan at origins, manage KPI’s performance and SLA fulfilment, control costs and escalation, conduct regular business reviews, and optimize on-the-ground resources to support ad-hoc requests, namely chartered own vessels, port diversion initiative, new equipment utilization, and more. * Being a strong liaison and Subject Matter Expert with stakeholders for problem resolution, data-driven decisions making, and recommendations generation by utilizing data analytics and KPIs to measure / monitor performance and identify areas for optimization and cost savings tracking. *Supported manager and AVP to sustain a collaborative and high-performance team. *Provided training to strategic Supplier partners on establishing appropriate levels of Supplier Capability – driving Inventory Turns improvements, optimizing Service Level and improving SC efficiencies. *Engaged tightly with HQ Buying and Replenishment team on order placing and monitored Vendors' Supply Chain performance (VFR) and undertake improvement initiatives of SC metrics with Suppliers to support program execution, corporate replenishment, and inventory plan. *Implemented standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure best practice, service level, supply chain processes meet legal requirements and compliance standards. *Provided in-depth analysis on offshore business and vendor performance as part of Line Review activities and new Brands support; prepared assessment on vendor / factory selection if needed.

*Be the first point of contact in Asia for suppliers and 3PL, ensuring problem free product flow from offshore to Canada. *Provided training and support to new Offshore vendors on system operations, corporate policies and requirements, and technique to manage Canadian Tire's demand-driven ordering system. *Worked on SC process improvement projects and tactical opportunities in conjunction with the Sourcing Offices and/or Home Office teams per request. *Supported Replenishment Analysts and Transportation Team to manage exceptional issues associated with vendors and all kinds of product flow e.g. reverse flow – RTV (Return to Vendor). *Travelled with Category Managers for selective supplier meetings to provide Supply Chain support and add value.

*Project owner of key customer accounts in Watches & Jewellery category. *Led a global sourcing team in regional office to meet/exceed yearly profitability target. *Generated financial projections and budgeting based on forecast and orders. *Kept exploring potential new vendors while managing a strong supplier network in Asia to support the supply of wide range of products at competitive prices. *Communicated with other global offices to review sourcing project brief and clients' needs. *Regularly travelled to regional offices, attended tradeshows, and visited vendors in China. *Worked closely with Product Engineers and QC team to ensure products are qualified.

*Managed product marketing and sales, followed-up through the entire order processing from orders receipt, and oversaw materials purchase, production planning to on-time shipment delivery. *Coordinated with 3PL providers: Customs brokers, freight forwarders, warehouses in US to ensure a timely cost-effective movement of imported products to North American clients. *Monitored inventory level at warehouse against alert levels and forecast. *Successfully executed a ‘Cost Reduction Program' through analyzing elements of the supply chain process, identifying cost drivers and reducing wastages.

* Responsible for managing corporate key accounts by supervising merchandising & logistics team to launch new assortment & SKU development for brand names: Nine West, Tommy Hilfiger, Givenchy, etc. * Monitored inventory level and replenishment plan of key materials to fulfil the demand of prototyping and mass production. * Managed ocean freights annual tendering cycle to make sure optimized rate / service levels / contract terms were obtained in order to support shipment demand forecast cost-effectively. * Provided oversight of material receipt discrepancy (included Overage, Shortage, Damaged, and Discrepant). Worked on improvement initiatives to reduce costs for rework and improve supplier relationships in order to minimize quarantined materials and thus increase material availability. * Monitored and analyzed export sales performance, identified areas of improvement, and implemented corrective actions.
