I assisted in the e-campus class Organic Certification CROP 355, I graded students’ weekly discussion posts, and provided detailed quiz feedback to support their learning. I conducted standardized experiments, developed statistical designs and protocols, and analyzed quantitative data using R software to ensure accuracy and reproducibility. My work extended to science communication, where I presented research findings at conferences. Within the research team, I applied practical management practices, organized meetings, and led hands-on activities, including fertilization, harvesting, hive feeding, varroa mite management, and honey harvesting.

I scheduled shipping dates for our main rose cultivars to align with optimal maturity windows based on GDD. I coordinated all farm operations by assessing time constraints and resource availability, ensuring efficient allocation of labor, equipment, and materials. To facilitate strategic planning, I compiled and presented detailed weekly reports every Monday to both the farm manager and the general manager, streamlining decision‑making and keeping leadership informed of operational progress and upcoming priorities.

I was the desk assistant of the Agricultural Dean. I also collaborated on installing a campus‑wide hydroponic experiment that supplies fresh produce to the campus restaurants, helping to design and set up the soilless growing systems. I also led hands‑on training sessions for students, teaching gardeners and homeowners how to build, operate, and maintain their own hydroponic systems.

I managed strawberry field tasks, including harvest and rigorous post‑harvest quality assessments—measuring attributes like firmness, color, and perishability—to ensure optimal fruit quality. I cooperated in transplanting a half‑acre of olive saplings at the Woodhall research extension farm, applying best practices for planting density, soil preparation, and irrigation setup. Additionally, I propagated olive cuttings under greenhouse conditions using hand‑operated mist irrigation systems to maintain high humidity and promote rapid root initiation.
