Jourden Skillman

Hey 👋 I'm Jourden. I'm one of the co-founders of Fonder, a brand and digital studio that works with DTC consumer brands. My path here started out as a project manager in the creative agency world, learning how good work actually gets done behind the scenes. Over five years I moved from managing projects to building systems, and eventually ended up building a branding studio from the ground up with a core team. Two years ago, Fonder came into existence and it's been an incredible experience so far. What keeps me energized is the operational side of creative work, like deploying powerful systems, giving form to innovation, & having a hands-on approach to meaningful progress. Outside of work I'm based in LA, filling up my calendar with new experiences — travel, food, and whatever hobby I'm currently going deep on. I believe the best version of work and life aren't separate categories. They feed each other. I'm going to start writing about my experiences as a founder, leadership, building systems, and the honest reality of running a business. Newsletter coming soon.
