-Measurement of Flint glass physical quality, including dimensional specifications and container requirements such as body and crown diameters (digital caliper), body and bottom thickness, sinkings, bulges, push-up, verticality (digital comparators), crown height (optical comparator), total height (caliper and comparator), volumetric capacity, weight (scales), impact resistance (pendulum), thermal shock, and slip tests. -Measurement of surface treatments using specialized equipment to determine CTUs on container body and crown; evaluation of thermal treatments such as annealing using a polarimeter to visualize residual stresses. -Analysis and interpretation of bottle specifications using technical drawings and GPI glass finish drawings according to client product requirements. -Review of quality control inputs using Military Standard tables, AQL, and defect classification (critical, major, minor) according to company standards. -Analysis of bottles fracture mechanics and detection of potential failure zones for impact, internal pressure, and thermal shock tests. -Use of Easier software for the release of Positive Release reports of measured variables, as well as analysis of specific parameters products for potential issues and product quality problems using histograms and internal tools within the application. -Use of SAP for daily updates of finished goods inventory retained and blocked by company and location, as well as retrieval of packaging specifications.

Chemical Laboratory and Batch House intern.
50200, Hda. del Coecillo 15, Delegación Santa María Totoltepec, 51370 Santa María Totoltepec, Méx.
-Measurement of Flint glass chemical quality, including density through drop tests, colorimetry using a spectrophotometer, stone identification, stress level analysis with a polarimeter, and material identification through microscope and stone identification manual, seeds, bubbles, and heavy metals using a metal analyzer gun, inspection of cord defects on container bodies and painting through polarized microscope and Berek compensator. -Daily update of reports for Glass Science leaders and preparation of daily and weekly presentations for the department. -Analysis and register of daily raw material consumption in the Batch House area through SAP, according to formulations provided by department managers, as well as gas, electricity, and pull rate consumption in furnaces via SAP. -Administration of documentation and review of raw material specifications, including tons received at the plant, tons shipped by suppliers, prices, reception dates, quality certificates, raw material suppliers, and freight or railway providers, using internal databases and SAP for transport payment and inventory management. -Basic control of Zippe software for handling unloading, formulation, weighing, mixing, and transportation of raw materials within the plant. -Daily update of raw material inventories according to furnace silo batches and consumption. Also a monthly forecasting of materials for the consumption furnaces. -Control and resolution of delays from Kansas City Southern Mexico (KCSM) for railway traffic management within the plant. -Update and administration of PDV area projects in the OIS system under the Continuous Improvement pillar, following platform practices and evaluation rubrics for documentation progress on implemented improvements.

Furnace intern.
50200, Hda. del Coecillo 15, Delegación Santa María Totoltepec, 51370 Santa María Totoltepec, Méx.
-Measurement of variables for End Port furnace control, including optical temperatures with a pyrometer, oxygen and carbon monoxide readings with a combustion gas analyzer, and mixture humidity using a thermobalance. -Monitoring furnace computer controllers and visual characteristics such as glass level, daily pull rate, silo batch levels, flame distribution, and temperature readings in key zones (regenerators, crown, refiner, throat, floor, vault, forehearths, and noria), as well as gas/air consumption, internal pressure, and oxygen levels. -Weekly compilation of furnace and laboratory variables for presentation to Glass Science, including analysis of daily energy consumption, pull rates, gas usage, and furnace performance, maintenance, and events. -Recording total gas consumption for the plant, including furnaces, forehearths, and annealing lehrs in internal databases. -Update and administration of PDV area projects in the OIS system under the Continuous Improvement pillar, following platform practices and evaluation rubrics for documentation progress on implemented improvements. -Use of SAP for generating purchase orders and requisitions for external products from registered and non‑registered suppliers and requesting materials from the internal plant warehouse for tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
