Sasol PSA Development Project IBL - LPG Plant Construction Duties performed: • Document reviews and material approval as per project specifications; • Construction of PSA Development Project (Gas Process Plant) consisting of a 5MVA substation; • Sorting out all technical queries arises on a daily basis on site; • Coordinating site electrical equipment installation; • Installation of E-House substation consisting of 2 power transformers of 2.5MVA each; • Installation of Variable Speed Drives (VSD's) to serve the process requirements; • Installation of Motor Control Center (MCC) 230/400V and 6.6kV MV Switchgear; • Installation of Lube Oil Cooler Fans, DC Supply Battery charger and Isolators; • Installation of Cable racking, cables, tagging, sleeves, glands and terminations; • Installation of Lighting and Small power distribution Boards, Welding socket Outlets, Switched socket Outlets, and core reduction boxes; • Installation of Medium Voltage (MV) motors and Low Voltage (LV) motors; • Installation of Lighting fixtures and Earthing system as per project specifications; • All equipment installation according to Hazardous Area Classification; • Conducted punches in all installed electrical equipments. • Conducted testing and commissioning of all electrical equipment installed for the project abovementioned and handover to the client.

Low Pressure Compression Construction Project phase 3 (LPC 3) Carried out electrical construction work as per the project schedule of: • Installation of Low Pressure Compressor (Gas Compressor) and Turbine; • Direct drive starter Variable Speed Drives (VSD); • Motor Control Center 230/400V Distribution Boards (MCC); • Lube Oil Cooler Fans; • DC Supply Battery charger and Isolator; • Cable racking, tray, tagging, sleeves, glands and terminations; • Low and Medium Voltage switchboards, switch-gears and core reduction boxes; • Low and Medium Voltage motors; • Electric Trace Heating; • Lights and fittings; • Earth systems; • Ex equipments according to Hazardous Locations. • Electrical cable schedule, termination schedule, specs and project Drawings.

Main role: • Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used on assigned projects meet the client’s requirements and/or those issued by the company. • Carry out electrical engineering work in accordance with the agreed project schedule. • Prepare general notes requisitions for electrical equipment. • Assists the designers with the preparation of electrical drawings. • Set up and maintain electrical databases. • Prepare all contract requisitions. • Prepare technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment. • Review and approve supplier documents for electrical work. • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT’s) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT’s) for electrical equipment (Equipment with significant electrical content). • Follow up electrical construction work on assigned projects sites to ensure correct interpretation of designs regarding installation. • Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan. • Suggests ways to improve efficiency, costs and service in the execution projects. • Assist where necessary in the compilation of operating manuals and mechanical catalogues. • Provide electrical engineering support to the other engineering disciplines and to the construction department. Carried out electrical design work as per the project schedule of: • Single line diagrams and Substation General Arrangement drawings. • Earthing layout drawings and also Light & small power layout drawings. • Cable Racking and Routing and also HAC drawings.

Ministry of Agriculture Construction Project Main works: • Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulic Quality Control Engineer at Ministry of Agriculture headquarters building, during the construction phase. • Carried out the work of construction of 2.5 MVA Mini-Substation to feed the premises of Ministry of Agriculture headquarters. • Check power transformers, switchgears, switchboards, uninterruptible power supply, sockets outlet, lighting, earth protection and lightning system. • Perform visual inspections, dimensional test, checks rating and material for connection. • Perform tests of continuity, insulation resistance. • Carried out the work of construction of Mini fire station compound by two fire pumps of 45 kW each, to cover the premises of Ministry of Agriculture headquarters in case of fire. • Check the fire pipes, fire pumps and hose reel. • Carried out the work of installation of Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment such as ROOF TOP's, Fans, Multi-Split and Mono-Split units, in the premises of Ministry of Agriculture headquarters. • Check the HVAC systems including conduits, diffusers, grills. • Witness the tests, controls and inspections carried out. • Designer of electrical and mechanical infrastructures of the Ministry of Labour facilities. • Elaboration of Technical Bid Evaluation and Analysis to assess the best value for the award of subcontractors of the Ministry of Labour facilities. • Supervision and coordination of activities with sub-contractors of the project management of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Planning and Development work. • Daily meetings to catch up the project weekly schedule and align with the team. • Sizing of the Electrical Switchboards, Protections, wiring as well as equipment specifications.
