Automation and operations leader with hands-on experience building an Automation Department from the ground up within automated harvesting operations. I lead multidisciplinary teams, define processes and standards, and drive the implementation of new automation technologies to improve efficiency, reliability, and product quality. My role combines people management, operational planning, and technical leadership, including team supervision, workforce scheduling, inventory control, maintenance strategy, and cross-functional coordination with production and operations teams. I focus on developing structured processes, preventive maintenance programs, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives that support scalable and sustainable operations. Although my official title is Harvest Robotics Engineer, my responsibilities align with Automation and Operations Management, with a strong emphasis on leadership, accountability, and results.

RESPONSABILITIES – Analyze and observe processes to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete business transactions. Conduct complex high-level assessments and defines process complexity in terms of robotic process automation (RPA). Provide subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area of responsibility. Complete standard templates for high-level as well as detailed design documents to ensure all business scenarios are in scope to be configured into RPA. Diagnose malfunctioning transformer, motor, servo motors, VFDs, relays, timer, encoders, etc. Hands-on experience in full life cycle of automation solution implementation. Diagnoses malfunctioning sensor (magnetic sensors, proximity sensors, limit switches, diffuse/reflective/through beam sensors). Conduct tests on malfunctioning machinery. Diagnose / troubleshooting PLCs. Perform advanced preventive maintenance task. Trouble shoot and repair pneumatic systems (ex:Directional valve, cylinders, vacuum generators)

RESPONSABILITIES - Integration of ice water plants for HVAC systems through PLC Carel and Jace for the handling of Armstrong brand pumping equipment. Sales of pumping equipment, as well as the calculation for a good selection of equipment to meet the needs that the complex requires. Budgeting and designing machine rooms, which include filtration systems, hydro pneumatics, hot water circuits and fire equipment. Maintenance of hydraulic motor pumps such as mechanical seal changes, engine and installation changes, as well as maintenance, designing and budgeting control and protection boards.

RESPONSABILITIES - Supporting in the realization of processes with the ARIS software, as well as follow-up, presenting finished processes in a conference with the plant areas and starting their audit. Review of formats, procedures and processes.

RESPONSABILITIES - Keeping the cargo plane that was maintained in good conditions, checking from nose to tail any imperfection that it could present. Changing tires, maintenance on landing gear, checkups on the central computer of the aircraft, monitoring the fuel load and exiting the plane with the routing to take-off runway.
