Worked in tooling development, supporting projects from design to process validation for plastic injection and stamping. Responsible for planning, scheduling, and leading the construction of injection molds and stamping dies (cutting, bending, and deep-drawing), including machining sequencing, wire and sinker EDM, and bench activities for fitting, closing, and assembly. Contributed metallurgical improvements involving steel selection, heat treatments, coatings, and optimization of electrodes and blanks for EDM, generating cost reductions and extending tooling life. Also performed try-out follow-up, process audits, and product quality validation for both: automotive and home appliance applications. In 2020, I served as a key user in the implementation of the TOTVS Protheus ERP/MES and the Linter Drummer APS within the tooling department, ensuring integration of tooling construction operations with all other areas of the company.

I worked in the Tooling department supporting the management, planning, and scheduling of injection mold and stamping die construction and maintenance. I contributed directly to manufacturing processes, using APS tools and an ERP system to define tooling production schedules, integrate information across departments, and anticipate impacts on the production flow. I conducted scenario analysis and supported decision-making to ensure deadlines were met while maximizing production capacity and maintaining delivery predictability.

A graduate of the Mechanical Manufacturing Technology program (CST) may work in the design and supervision of operation systems focused on manufacturing processes. They have mastery of the operation, characteristics, and maintenance of machine tools, machining equipment, tools, and general devices, and are capable of managing an entire mechanical production process. They also possess strong knowledge of production processes based on automation. They understand administrative production controls and can work in the areas of organization and management of production systems. They know how to apply mechanical construction materials and have expertise in machine design, as well as the design of tools and production devices. They may also engage in teaching and research, as well as conduct inspections, evaluations, and issue technical reports within their professional field.
