About

My last 4 years of experience in the construction field has thrown me head first into the fast paced, dynamic and thoroughly rewarding environment of construction projects. The first couple of years saw me onsite in the front line trenches setting out engineering work such as drainage, roads and bridge abutments. Over time I have transitioned to aiding the project team in managing materials, plant and labour within the allocated budget and resources. The unique, engaging and at times challenging atmosphere of construction projects has instilled in me resilience, problem solving skills and a results based focus to my work and all decisions I make are taken with respect to the relevant KPIs. I am always looking to further improve my competence with new and engaging projects. I find nothing more rewarding than working as part of a focused and competent team to achieve extraordinary results; the strength of the team is in each individual member and the strength of each member is the team.

The priority of activities and resources and is often a compromise based on negotiation and oral communication skills. * Materials take-offs and orders ensuring the correct specification and number of kerbs, pipes, ducts, concrete, etc. ordered in time with minimal waste.
