Jumped into the world of high end interior design 2 days after graduating, with the amazing, award winning Mia Karlsson. Education

Interior Architecture and Design
Education at Hertfordshire has broadened my view on design as a whole. The course had a variety of projects, from industrial, hospitality, exhibition, retail, temporary structures and residential. A collection of software was taught by the talented Paul Cureton, such as photoshop, sketchup, autoCAD and Revit. Learning multiple programmes enabled me to become a natural at picking up all different CAD software with ease in a short period of time. I also took part in late night drawing classes to enhance my designs visually on paper too. Designs with a pen and paper has a personal style and identity per designer which should be exploited while at university and developed over time.

Studying Interior Design at WVU was quite different in a positive way to the course back In the UK. The course in North America had more attention towards materials, FF&E details than my architectural, space planning and user concentrated course at UH. Combining this year with my architectural years at UH, I believe this has made a positive impact on me and my future career.
This was the start of my design orientated career as I entered college to study 3D design. It was a broad course that covered many different projects. From product design, theatre stage sets, retail/residential interior design and Architecture. Skills learnt: Photoshop AutoCAD architecture Sketchup Illustrator Indesign Model making Presentation skills Concept design User experience 3D Visualisations
