At Precision Cardiovascular (PCV), I manage the multidisciplinary research and development program for PULSENSE, our next-generation implantable sensor platform for passive, wireless monitoring of cardiovascular pressure and function. My role bridges engineering and clinical translation, driving the development of implantable and external systems from concept through to clinical readiness.

Led development of a clinical AI platform concept enabling access to pre-trained diagnostic models for high-demand specialties (Radiology, Histopathology, Dentistry). Built a basic MVP, defined product requirements, and gathered early clinician feedback to validate workflow integration. Project paused in 2024 after early user feedback

Led the development of a novel class 3 medical device from concept to late preclinical stage . PerDeCT uses doppler and balloon technology to diagnose the risk of cardiac tamponade, a life threatening condition which occurs post cardiac surgery. Currently, it can only be ruled out by re-opening the patients chest.

IMS holds a portfolio of cardioplegia solutions which safely stop the heart allowing surgeons to perform at their best and provides optimal protection to the heart during the surgery.

During my time within the Endoscopy division, I developed my account management and clinical sales skills by supporting 15 hospitals across my South-West UK territory. Throughout my time, I have been focused on building strong and long standing relationships aswell as adding value to customers. My role involved generating business in new accounts in addition to developing relationships and implementing new products into existing accounts. My main objectives were to understand departmental needs through communication with several clinical stakeholders, deliver product demonstrations (for a large portfolio of over 2000 products), clinical training and education as well as technical surgical case support. My focus on clinical education and case support allowed me to form strong relationships and generate sales through a consultative approach.

Focused on driving clinical education and providing primary technical support in the area of coronary imaging and physiology specifically OCT, FFR, RFR and CMD. Implementation of Ultreon AI software across North London and East Anglia.

I have gained valuable healthcare experience working in the Emergency Department at Derriford Hospital as well as a lot of vital knowledge on emergency medicine. My role involves conducting nursing assessments, ECGs, regular observations and neurological observations.

My MRes has provided me with a large amount of invaluable experience in a research setting. From understanding how the environment works, to encountering common challenges and learning various new laboratory techniques. I learnt as much as possible from the people around me. I found that I thrive in an environment of likeminded people who are self-motivated yet work collaboratively to solve scientific problems. Overall, I feel that my MRES motivated me to pursue a career in medical research.
