Trained operators on the controls, capabilities and limitations of the SPY-1 RADAR to include Search, Detection, Track, Environmental Management (Clutter control), Loading, Electronic Attack/Electronic Protection, and Threat Missiles. - Trained shipboard personnel, at an advanced level, the skills necessary to perform self-assessment and systems groom (SAGT) for the shipboard AN/SPY-1D(V) RADAR system and Combat System Auxiliary Support systems. Trained graduates to perform the operational tests and diagnostics for maintenance of the AN/SPY-1D(V) Signal Processor and Transmitter Group, recognize and interpret the malfunction indications, perform systematic fault isolation procedures and describe the alignment and adjustment procedures to support preventative and documented corrective maintenance. - Provided Officers and Enlisted sailors assigned to AEGIS ships with the knowledge and skills necessary to operated and employ the AEGIS Combat System onboard AEGIS ships in a multi-warfare environment, under all conditions of readiness to reinforce individual watchstanders to perform in a team environment during Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Advanced Warfare Training (AWT). - Course Supervisor for multiple SPY, IAMD, and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) courses, in charge of ensuring, monitoring, and validating admin, security, and test item analysis.
