Joshua Ásberg

In 2021 I decided to take the leap and join the game industry after an exciting career in the film industry where I worked as a project manager at Iceland's premier film equipment rental house and as a director of photography, culminating in the theatrical release of my debut feature film. Years of collaborating with people from different disciplines taught me how to achieve a common goal with strict time constraints and a limited budget. What really draws me to game development is the fact that (much like film) it's a team sport and it gives you the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded and equally passionate people. Outside of video games, I collect hobbies like they're Pokémon - archery, table tennis, electronics repair, TTRPGs, board games, comic books, aviation, modular synthesizers... you name it. It all boils down to a love of learning about new subjects and unlocking lessons along the way.
