I froze on my first cold call. Genuinely blanked. First objection and I had nothing. That girl would not believe what I do now. I went from too scared to take up space in a room to someone who finds, reads, and backs people for a living. My sales background isn't a detour from recruiting it's the whole reason I'm good at it.
