Throughout my placement at Northcote High School, I was supervising classes varying from years 7-9 for Physical Education, Health & Sports Leadership, assisting and organising equipment for activities, cleaning and managing the store room inventory for our equipment and after a few periods through placement, I was given the opportunity to be first in charge and lead classes in their daily schedule for Physical Education.

The sales assistant role at David Jones demanded a high level of professionalism with high pressure, often to meet deadlines. Staff must uphold effective communication and work together as a team to achieve targets. Since working at David Jones, I have gained valuable experience in providing professional customer service, organising, repacking and shelving products, customer holds, assisting customers over telephone calls regarding products and general information, cleaning the store after trading hours and gaining POS experience and greater cash handling skills. Through my tenure at David Jones, I gained experience in the business shirts, menswear, travel goods/luggage and men's accessories departments.
