In 2008, I was hired as a full time fire fighter with Richmond Fire Rescue. Under this organisation I have been involved as a full time suppression officer, responding to all emergency events within the City of Richmond. While at Richmond I have had the opportunity to spend a significant amount of time in the fire prevention office as an inspector, an instructor and educator to the community, as well as, internal stakeholders within Richmond. I was appointed on the firefighter recruitment committee where I have been responsible for re-engineering the recruitment process while developing and implementing the requirements for probationary firefighters. Finally, I have also had the opportunity to be an active member of the Richmond Fire technology committee. My work in Richmond has afforded me multiple professional development opportunities for which I am truly grateful!

Ozz solar is an industry leader in solar management and development, my role is that of a contractor. Responsible for writing and submitting the following requests for government, as well as, commercial and industrial organizations: o Requests for proposals o Requests for information o Requests for questionnaires Worked with technical, engineering, design and sales teams to construct these requests for government, post –secondary, and multi – national commercial and industrial entities

* Worked with technical team to develop the home energy conservation solution * Worked with a variety of Utilities and power providers * Worked as the single point of contact for all external partners to ensure open lines of communication internally * Worked with Municipal governments in order to help them understand and embrace energy requirements * Coordinated with Founder for business development opportunities

* Worked with the New Grad Program to develop the comprehensive twelve month orientation plan * Delivered the New Grad Program to 12 post secondary institutions in Ontario and Quebec * Worked as a liaison between McMaster University and Bell Canada on an innovation project * Created a professional development workshop on communication tools and practices for Bell Canada in conjunction with a McMaster University professor * Worked extensively on the home energy conservation project

* Identified opportunity and developed concept * Developed initial business plan * Acquired start-up financing from Business Development Bank of Canada * Developed working relationships with fifty Canadian colleges and universities * Managed the business while a full-time masters student * Successful exit and sale of company to First Choice Holidays Plc, a multinational tour operator based in London, England * Sat on the board of directors panel for the Canadian arm of the Company Impact Educational Tours

We provide safety and security inspections and audits for mature adults and young families. We attempt to give people the knowledge skills and abilities to provide a safer living environment for themselves as well as their families. Furthermore, we are trying to give clients the tools and education that they will need to remain proactive and lower their risks of unwanted preventative emergency situations. Lastly if an emergency situation is to occur we try and provide our clients with some tools to assist them in making good decisions under stressfull environmental factors.
