Creating data intake solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform Suite (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Bi) for the Capital Investment Planning team.

• Creating and maintaining the new business intelligence initiatives within the Downstream Major Projects team. • Maintaining and improving the cost dashboard of the downstream major projects portfolio of +25 projects (230MM/yr budget). Breaking down costs by expense vs. capital, AFE & WBS, asset location, discipline, and early vs. late stage projects. Created the following new BI initiatives for the team: • Safety Metrics ~ calculating TRIR at the project and contractor level by tracking recordable incidents and hours on site. • Earned Value Management ~ calculating earned value, SPI, CPI, and construction progress at the project, discipline, and contractor level using scheduled hours and cost. • Schedule Summary ~ visualized current vs. baseline schedule, critical path, and major milestones at the project level. • Risk vs. Contingency ~ showcased the value of risk and contingency over time at the project level using the project change log and risk registers. • RFI log analysis ~ broke down RFI causes and resolution at the discipline level. • Post Turnaround Projects ~ showcased earned value, progress, and cost at the project, work order, and contractor level.

• Created SQL queries to audit and identify bad actors, and to gather evidence for internal investigations and uphold privacy. • Developed business cases to improve internal controls with regards to data privacy. • Working knowledge of PCI compliance standards. • Investigated organization short comings and identified the root causes, in order to document lessons learned, the lead up to the problem, and actions taken by the organization to mitigate losses. • Profiled data fields for data quality reviews to benchmark and monitor data accuracy, completeness, validity, and reliability. • Captured metadata classification and data definitions to generate enterprise data catalog for consistent and accurate data structure, data interpretation, and data access.

• Created SQL queries to improve reporting processes as well as tracking SLA actuals vs. targets. As well as creating queries to identify accounts that follow current fraud patterns. • Identifying and stopping fraud (application, card, and ATO) through transaction monitoring best practices and KYC authentication. • Screening possibly identified sanctioned entities and PEPs for AML purposes Used SQL to identify fraud patterns and create fraud prevention rules • Building Dashboards to visualize fraud trends, SLAs, and KPIs of the Risk & Compliance Dept. which includes the Fraud Operations contact center.

• Gathered and visualized data by using Power Bi, Excel, and Power Query to create scorecards for the EVP, 4 VPs, and +15 Directors based on safety, cost, training and other metrics. The scorecard visuals were used to monitor KPIs and help communicate YTD actuals vs. YTD targets with each of the departments in the Technical Centre of Excellence business unit. • Assisted in preparing monthly OM&A and SLA cost packages to inform leadership at the VP and Director level of their YTD budgets. • Assisted in streamlining communication and collaboration within the Technical Centre of Excellence business unit by leveraging SharePoint to centralize communication and managed permissions, as well as visualizing major milestone deliverables.
