Regularly assisted customers and had to be knowledgeable about inventory to promote sales. Stocked floor inventory. Assisted Deli Manager with making correct reorder points.

My role here works with four different departments including Customer Supply Chain, Customer Support Center, Distribution Center Operations, and Transportation. As a result I have a very full capacity and am introduced to many groups making my internship position highly cross-functional. I run nine different reports, and will likely be handed more down the road of this internship. I work in excel, VBA Coding in excel, Hyperion, SAP, and Powerpoint often. I also work in Microsoft Exchange a tremendous amount and am running Clorox's global sharepoint redesign to assist all sections and am currently focused in Latin America. I work in SAP every single day, as well as excel. I am often asked to look at inefficient reports and see if there are ways to better manage them through automation in VBA coding to decrease Non-value added time. I've also been working with a program in Clorox to reduce inefficiencies with regard to collection data from the internet and been helping with standard operating procedures for web scraping.

Currently working 25 to 35 hours per week; 40 during summer; hours can require employees stay to 3 AM when closing. Must be knowledgeable of 26 different beers on tap and effectively describe / up sell to customers. Often required to rigorously multitask and effectively communicate with co-workers. o Recently have been consulting kitchen on forecasting demand to better structure inventory on special events.

Organized/retrieved numerous amounts of case files o Learned exceptional memory technique, Memory of Loci, and can memorize any list of information in five to ten minutes and recall it with clarity days later.

* I serve as a liaison between business clients and our product development team, supporting the implementation of the warehouse management system with high client satisfaction. * Clients served: Nike, Sysco, eBay, Federal Mogul * Understanding and planning based on the client’s business needs and matching them to MA software functionality. * Configure MA software to meet the client’s business requirements - includes a wide range of mods built upon base software. * Ensure successful implementation of product. * Manage client relations * Collaborate with small project teams comprised of consultants and technical analysts * Worked with multiple clients covering a broad range of industries from food to apparel.

My ultimate goal to obtain out of my university education would be to use the knowledge I've acquired through my two degrees and collateral, but particularly in the field of Supply Chain Management. Companies are beginning to realize how critical it is to have an efficient AND effective supply chain to deliver quality while maintaining low costs (and it is possible). Given the rapidly dwindling life cycles that product have, competitive advantage over your opponents can most easily be accessed through the company's supply chain. My goal will be to ultimately lead in assisting businesses get that competitive advantage through my accumulated knowledge gained from the University of Tennessee's renowned Supply Chain Management department.
