Designed and implemented a 9th grade English blended-learning curriculum with personalized digital content that contributed to a 24% increase in Proficient/Advanced scores on the CSTs compared to surrounding schools in the 2010-2011 academic year Created original, rigorous, and engaging lessons that were culturally relevant to a diverse group of low-income students which resulted in a classroom of 21st century learners that reached 76% mastery on charter network benchmark exams Co-planned with and mentored a first-year English teacher; coordinated with the Education Specialist to develop a rigorous differentiated curriculum for IEP/ELL students, and made hiring recommendations to build the strength of the ELA department
