I was hired as a delivery driver as my first job and decided that I would be better suited for the kitchen so they switched me over to pizza line cook where I quickly became one of the best they had. I was given multiple raises and eventually put in charge of the non-pizza side of the kitchen where I made pasta, sandwiches, salads, hot wings, burgers, and desserts. I was also in charge of training many new employees and closing the kitchen at the end of the night.

I was hired on before the new Fry's Marketplace opened in June and I helped clean the store and prepare for opening day. For the most part, my daily job involves cooking fried chicken, baked chicken, rotisserie chicken, boneless wings, and chicken tenders for the display case in the front of the deli. At the end of the day I clean out each of the deep fryers, scrub the floors, scrape out ovens, fill out cooking logs, and clean chicken displays. Occasionally I work in the front where I serve chicken to customers and make fresh sandwiches. I also have to service the salad bar, making sure it's clean and stocked for the customers. Working the deep fryers and rotisserie ovens has improved my time management skills because we have specific times that we need to bring out rotisserie chickens and make fresh food for the front. Working in the front has taught me to smile and greet customers when they walk by and also how to make them happy if they have to wait for their food or they aren't satisfied.

I was a member of the band for 2 years which taught me to perform under pressure and I was a teacher's assistant for 1 year which required me to grade tests, enter grades, and help the teacher with running errands. Activities and Societies: Band, Game Design

I have taken an passed many of the Core classes at MCC and I plan to start taking more classes that involve working with computers and graphic design.
