Execute rapid diagnosis and resolution of hydraulic and mechanical failures to minimize operational downtime. Manage maintenance documentation and inventory records via SAP CMMS, ensuring accurate tracking of repair details and failure causes. Supervise and provide technical guidance to contractors and junior staff to maintain high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Maintained and repaired underground and surface mining equipment (Komatsu, Hitachi, Caterpillar), focusing on hydraulic system integrity. Participated in major equipment rebuilds and shutdown maintenance projects to improve long-term reliability. Interpreted complex technical blueprints and schematics to perform precision system adjustments and component replacements.

• Conduct routine driving across mining sites to grease equipment, perform oil top-ups, and carry out scheduled inspections. • Perform installation, commissioning, preventive, and corrective maintenance on heavy mining equipment. • Diagnose and attend to on-site breakdowns involving hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical systems. • Carry out component rebuilds, alignments, lubrication, and defect rectification in line with OEM standards. • Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and compile detailed maintenance and breakdown reports. • Train operators and maintenance personnel on safe equipment operation, daily checks, and routine care.
