I am a dedicated labor activist who has been involved with various aspects of the labor movement for several years. I have functioned as an external and internal union organizer, working with both independent and large affiliated labor organizations. My written work has been published in major publications such as In These Times and the Talking Union Labor Blog. I currently operate an independent labor blog: The Virtual Picket Line, which covers issues involving labor organizations and the working class. I am available for organizing and journalism opportunities with interested labor organizations, as well as press coverage for labor news and events. I am also currently working on my first book, which recounts a year of union organizing in the Appalachian region of Eastern Kentucky and West Virginia.
