About
In 1996, I was hired by Catalina Lighting as a Computer Help Desk Technician. From the moment I was hired, I learned the need for growth and adaptation in an ever changing environment. As the company evolved, I also managed to evolve and take on more responsibilities. As IT staff was reduced, again, I adapted and took on more roles and responsibility. Eventually I became the sole manager / director / administrator / technician of a multi-million dollar company as Catalina Lighting emerged as Evolution Lighting, LLC with offices in Asia, Canada and several location in the US including warehouse operations and was the direct manager of the EDI Manager. As the previously Director of IT and now director of Operations, I have learned to manage the corporate infrastructure efficiently by combining available technologies, outsourcing support and solutions and in-house solutions. My goal has always been to create an environment for the end user that maximizes performance, reliability and remote accessibility, as well as incorporating a comprehensive business continuity plan to ensure seamless operations.
