During the summer of 2015, worked as a Welding Engineer Intern for the L&W Engineering Company at Plant 5 in Lebanon, Tennessee. During this internship, gained knowledge of Motoman robotics with Gas Metal Arc Welding attachments and furthered increased knowledge of FANUC robotics with resistance welding and part handling attachments. Duties for this internship included fixture modification, job creation and improvement, created and updated welding specification sheets, updating the plant layout via AutoCAD, and cycle time studies.

During the summer of 2014, worked as a Welding Engineer Intern for the L&W Engineering Company at the Oakland Stamping plant in Detroit, Michigan. During this internship, gained knowledge of FANUC robotics with both Gas Metal Arc Welding and Resistance Welding attachments. Duties for this internship included preventative maintenance for the robotic cells, tip changes, process improvement, and a safety inspection spread sheet of all the PED welders and robotic cells.

Currently working at the GM Technical Center in Warren, MI as a Welding Engineer for Fusion Welding Solutions creating weld range developments for resistance welding. Designing and creating fixtures for gas metal arc welding test coupons as well as robotically welding said coupons. Metallurgical testing including tensile pulls and sample mounting for etching and microstructure photographs. Vehicle tear-downs.
