Senior Buyer-Subcontractors Management Responsibilities - Prepare, update and monitor CFE list to ensure on-time materials availability. - CFE materials delivery to the subcontractors for the implementation of the specified PO delivery schedule. - Submit PO data to the Contracts Department for the contract preparation to the awarded subcontractor. - Contracts distribution and handling. - Set-up weekly conference calls to monitor the PO progress. - Subcontractors support. - Handle the return of the CFE materials. - Evaluate subcontractor’s performance. - Close cooperation with the interfacing departments (Project Management, Manufacturing, Component Engineering, Configuration, R&D, Logistics, Imports/Exports, QA, Accounting/ Financial, Contracts, IT). - Engineering Change Reviews (ECRs) and guidelines on the implementation of the Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

Responsibilities - Conduct market research, to identify the most appropriate sources of supply, offering materials at the most competitive prices, meeting as well the established quality specifications and the determined delivery schedules. - Monitor inventory levels to utilize the existing stock and decision making about the new PO placement. - Submit RFQs, follow up, collect and quotations evaluation. - Negotiate pricing & payment terms. - Prepare comparative tables. - PO placement and continuous follow up. - Handle the return of the rejected materials and ensure their on-time availability after rework/replacement. - Participate in budget costing process about the future company’s projects.

Graduate of the two-year joint MSc program “Business Administration of Industrial Systems“ of University of Piraeus in cooperation with the National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A) with specialization in Logistics.
