● Responsible for the sourcing, monitoring, and restructuring of investments spanning the public and private global markets for a $17 billion pension fund and communicating our strategy to the State Investment Commission, teachers unions, and reporters. ● Actively engage with our Chief Investment Officer to present new investment ideas. My team completed $200 million in real estate investments to and led a $1 billion fixed income restructure.

● Lead project manager for on-boarding and utilizing a new FinTech solution that provides granular analytics on our Private Equity investments and streamlines our operational workflow. ● Spearheaded the research into our fund’s overall oil & gas exposure and translated that analysis to decision-makers resulting in on-going fossil fuel divestments and a strategic shift to alternative energy sources.

● Stepped into a key financial role to lead early-stage fundraising activities during a transitional period for the firm to mature their investor base towards more institutional and influential strategic partners. ● Prepared company growth-forecasting and modeling for new technologies developed to reduce carbon emissions and increase fleet efficiency in the trucking and transportation industry. ● Collaborated with senior management on how to position the company to investors and convey the long-term vision and opportunity, which required in-depth industry analysis and networking with senior executives in the industry. ● Interacted directly with potential strategic and financial investors and was a member of the negotiation team ● Restated and professionalized all historical financial statements and implemented a new inventory accounting system to better manage our working capital.

● Responsible for the execution of equity and currency transactions for three portfolio managers and the Chief Investment Officer of a $5.9 billion globally invested fund. I became the lead international equity trader responsible for 30% of our portfolio. ● Played a central role on the trading desk during one of the most volatile trading periods in recent history which included the 2016 election and Brexit. ● Provided macroeconomic and company-specific research and updates to Portfolio Managers, which led to participating in analysis and trade ideas with our Consumer Discretionary team, while being responsible for all trade execution in the Asian markets. ● Architected the research and decision analysis framework that led to the successful selection and implementation of a new trading platform. The new trading platform allowed the trading desk to more rapidly execute trades and lower commissions.
