Joseph Camputaro

As an education professional for over 19 years, I have dedicated myself to providing high-quality education and support to diverse students and families. I am a Golden Apple Recipient, an honor that recognizes excellence in teaching and innovation in the classroom. I am also a finalist for the Nearpod Educator of the Year Award, for my role in connecting and engaging with other educators and learners throughout various communities. I have developed and implemented effective teaching strategies, curriculum, and assessments that align with various state standards. I have also participated in various teacher training and staff development programs, both as a learner and a facilitator, to enhance my skills and share my best practices with others. I am passionate about communication and media studies, and I have a bachelor's degree in this field from City University of New York-College of Staten Island, and a postgraduate degree in elementary education and teaching from Florida Gulf Coast University. My mission is to inspire and empower my students to achieve their academic and personal goals, and to prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. I value collaboration, creativity, diversity, and lifelong learning, and I strive to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for everyone.
