• Founded and built Landos Biopharma from the ground up as a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focusing on inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, starting with IBD. • Spearheaded the vision, strategic direction and operations as the Executive Chairman of the Board, President & CEO to maximize shareholder value. • Led the development of NX-13 (now called ABBV-113), a gut-restricted small-molecule drug candidate targeting the NLRX1 pathway. • Secured Series A, Series B/crossover financing and launched a successful IPO for Landos. • Oversaw all the preclinical and clinical studies that enabled the acquisition of Landos Biopharma by Abbvie, Inc.

• Established a pioneering immunology research program funded by NIH and DOD grants. • Founded the Center for Modeling Immunity to Enteric Pathogens (MIEP) to create computational models of the gut immune system. • Authored groundbreaking peer-reviewed papers and books on computational methods for immune response regulation.
