I am Chief Scientist at Quint and external associate professor (Privatdozent) at TU Wien. In the past, I worked as director of protocol engineering at Informal Systems, and before that in academia at the Parasol Lab at Texas A&M University, the Laboratoire d'Informatique LIX at Ecole polytechnique, and at the ECS and Forsyte groups at TU Wien. My primary area of interest is the theoretical approach to distributed algorithms, with a focus on formal specification and verification as tools for building more reliable systems.
