Poultry and Swine nutritionist, with over 10 years of experience in feed mill operations, livestock management, formulation of diets, and basic and applied research. Working at the core of the cost of goods for multinational animal nutrition companies I was able to successfully implement a standardized program of quality of ingredients, and implement a nutrition economic value model for purchasing ingredients. Being bilingual was crucial to communicate effectively with Livestock shareholders when developing applied research acrooss the hemisphere. During graduate education I was able to interact with livestock industry and academia by developing basic and applied research for producers and ally companies that provide feed additives. I am motivated by clearly understanding the problems and finding the best solution for companies in regard to research and development. Statistical methods are as important for me as it is the knowledge of biological principles, and in biological systems. Being part of the food production chain, it motivates me to achieve safety access to high quality protein for more people around the world in a sustainable way by a improving logistics, life-storage, using science to reduce harm residuals while improving productivity, and reducing waste. It is of my best interest to transfer some of my experience by teaching, advising, and mentoring middle school, under-gradute, and graduate students, as well as producers and companies.
