Responsible of Sourcing Plan for new LEGO Manufactury Richmond site in US; In charge of localization, tendering & development of local vendors footprint in US for packaging materials; Printed Boxes (high graphic), outers (mastercarton), Buildindig Instructions (magazines, cards, instructives) & Stickers.

Main responsabilities: - Evaluate the development and performance of suppliers. Understand the root cause and corrective actions from suppliers and internal personnel from LEGO to avoid it will occur in future - Work together with the suppliers to review their productions plans and capacity to align them to our requirements of supply chain. Guarantee production capacity with strategic suppliers - Management and analysis of inventory of suppliers in order to guarantee the supply but at the same time avoid excess of obsolescence. - Maintain and guarantee an effective communication between the LEGO stakeholders and suppliers - Identify opportunities and implement actions with suppliers to generate savings, pay term improvements, agreements looking for volume consolidation, rebates, consolidated volumes, etc. - Follow up and monitor the market trends, financial indexes and trend analysis. - Categorization of suppliers according to their relevance of supply to the plant and the risk mitigation according to the category and market they are part of. - Execute the Strategy defined within the Product Category and participate in the development of itself communicating it to the Suppliers - Implement of continuous improvement actions and benchmark best practices among suppliers. - Responsible for compliance and to inform of deviations to C-TPAT/FSC regulations applicable to their commodity. - Identify and qualify new suppliers - Implement sourcing standards including process & execution, synergies for saving or cost avoidance

Highlight of my sourcing expertise: • Supplier Development & Sole source break; new suppliers and approval of new materials or similar were developed working closely with product support and commercial team. Qualification of new/alternative materials, local suppliers, SRG program was implemented to have success to get that. All these activities have been focused to contribution margin improvement and deflation. • Payment Terms; Strong focus to get better payment terms during this role has been executed, getting 13 additional day average in last 4 years. Developed and rationalization of suppliers, fixed agreements and global bids were done to get these additional days of credit. • Fulfillment Management; Constantly communication with suppliers, to get the best and real delivery date. Maintenance & updated of master data of items and suppliers in SAP. Planning and execution of orders/POs on time and the following to them to achieve to supply the materials and commodities to customers in time. • Contract Management; I supported commodity leaders on global agreements to obtain better conditions (price, delivery, payment terms) for Mexico & Venezuela, led some global bids to supply Mexico & Venezuela needs. Getting fixed price agreements annually. Manage spend of 7million of usd in direct material & 3million usd of indirect materials. • To be an audit certified for SRG program & internal audit for ISO-9001, I had developed skills of auditor, with trained and constantly audits during all years. Currently I’m the owner for SRG program in Mexico for GE water business; I have achieved to increase my knowledge in Mexican regulatory laws about operation of manufacture plants. • Country Expertise, Knowledge about IMPO/EXPO process, Customs GE Process (Due diligence), NAFTA process of qualification for material in Mexico, regulatory process with some Government dependences like COFEPRIS, SE, SCT, etc. Knowledge of Venezuela logistics process (MILCO, CADIVI).
