Jorge Vasallo

Partner at Arcano Partners since 2009, and currently Co Managing Director of the Investment Banking division. Previously, I led the Mergers and Acquisitions team at The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in Spain and Portugal (formerly ABN AMRO Bank) for 8 years and was Managing Director at ABN AMRO Bank. I worked for 3 years as Joint Managing Director of Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank in Spain and Portugal and as Managing Director of Bankers Trust. Prior to that, I spent 3 years as Senior Banker at Merrill Lynch. I was partner at FG Valores SUB, where I worked 7 years as Head of Corporate Finance, among other responsibilities. For 6 years, I worked at Continental Illinois National Bank where I was Head of Capital Markets in Spain, among other roles. I began my professional career in 1980 as an analyst at Citilease in Spain, where I worked for 2 years. I have a BA degree in Economics from the Complutense University in Madrid.
