Every day, I operated maxilla-facial surgery and managed related affairs of in-patient department and emergency room through working closely together with medical team. Every day, I had to make some difficult decisions about diagnosis, treatment and lab examination. It is cool.

As a consultant at J-MAC Style Design company, I involve in some design projects and provide my professional insights and design strategy based on my UX research work. These insights often work well to inspire and support designers much. In most cases, it is pretty challenging, but I love it.

I manage industrial design program and teach several courses mainly involving design psychology, usability and UX . As a psychology researcher, I conduct user research and product development projects sponsored by companies or local government. Meanwhile, I supervise international academic communication program and make efforts to improve and expand the impact of industrial design program of ZJUT in the world.

I received psychology doctorate program in one of TOP 3 universities of China, mainly including advanced statistical analysis, cognitive psychology, ergonomics, human factors, experiment psychology, psychological measurement and so on. During this period, I experienced several user research projects sponsored by Nokia, Intel PAPR, Novo Nordisk, Thuginteractive, Tencent (China), which help me figure out close ties between user research and design practice. Of course, I come to realise how to apply psychology theories into design practice. Experiece is pretty awesome! Activities and Societies: 2008: Participated in Usability Professional Association annual conference in Shenzhen. 2007: Received Usability training sponsored by Sino European Usability Center. 2006: Participated in Usability Professional Association annual conference in Shanghai. 2005: Received Ethnography field study training sponsored by NOKIA NRC in Beijing. 2004: Became a member of Chinese Psychology Academy 2003-2008: Got involved in user research projects

I also received a comprehensive and professional medical training program at medical school of CSU, including physiology, pathology, medicine, surgery (general & oral/maxillofacial surgery), and so on. So I have a complete and deep understanding of health-care system in China. Benefiting from one-year stay in Cincinnati, USA, I also get a good chance to take a close look at USA’s health-care service system.

I work as a visiting scholar and do some mobile user experience research with Prof. Matthews at Psychology department of University of Cincinnati. During that time, I was invited to deliver a speech for undergraduate students about usability and user experience research. Activities and Societies: I was invited by Prof.Sooshin to deliver a speech about 'User Research for Design' at School of Design, DAAP, University of Cincinnati. I also was invited by Prof. Matthews to give a speech about 'Usability and User Experience Study Methodology' at Department of Psychology. I attended several seminar meetings at Human Factors Lab led by Prof.Matthews at Department of Psychology.
