• Conducted legal research and memo writing, ranging in topics from the admissibility of social media evidence at trial to the applicability of tort immunity for Illinois Human Rights Act claims • Drafted briefs for labor arbitration cases involving breach of contract and unfair labor practices • Managed trial workups for workers’ compensation cases, including creation of medical chronologies

• Observed grievance, investigatory, and discharge conferences for unionized employees in CPS. • Wrote decision reports and gathered evidence for Administrative Hearing Officers. • Updated materials to reflect changes in CPS Policy such as the amended Chicago Ordinance on paid sick leave, newly bargained agreement between Chicago Public Schools and athletic coaches, and added preventative measures for the 2021-22 school year regarding the pandemic.

Took public health and GIS coursework during the Winter and Spring Quarters. Conducted research with Professor Scott Smith, Assistant Director of the Chaddick Institute, in geospatial health disparities regarding COVID-19 in Chicago. I was one of three students to present this research with Professor Smith at a webinar, with attendees including physicians and public health professionals. Other research projects included neighborhood air dispersion pollution analysis in Chicago and mapping disparities in access to healthcare in Illinois.
