Interned as a legal assistant for Steven M Sacks Esq. Researched case law and legal resources and presented briefs on relevant cases. Developed and created easy access legal summaries of legal cases and resources such as the California Civil Code. Aided in the writing of legal documents and emails between attorney and clients.

Assisted the criminal law team and family law team with legal projects that included: legal research, discovery, court filings, evidence review, maintaining case files and general legal support. Provided occasional direct support to the Partner.

As a Marketing Consultant, I participated in direct selling strategies such as hosting in-home presentations, presenting business seminars, consultant recruitment, consultant training, customer recruitment, customer relations.

Working closely with senior paralegals along Kirkland’s West Coast Offices, I provided paralegal support to a team of over 20 Corporate M&A attorneys in Kirkland's Palo Alto and San Francisco Offices, and a team of Corporate Debt Finance attorneys in Kirkland's West Coast Offices. As the only Corporate M&A paralegal in the Palo Alto Office, I assisted with a high volume of complex private equity deals ranging from several million to over a billion dollars in total purchase price. I strived to provide high quality and efficient service to the attorneys and our clients. My responsibilities included, but are not limited to: transactional work-streams; corporate governance, entity formation, drafting agreements and other contracts, client correspondence, stock certification and management, closing books, minute books, resolutions, lien searches and summaries, signature pages, and organizational charts.
