Jordan Huynh

HR student at Mount Royal University pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources, with a strong interest in recruiting and talent acquisition. I’m passionate about how organizations attract, evaluate, and support people, and I’m especially interested in fair, structured hiring and positive candidate experiences. Through my coursework in statistics, business analytics, employee relations, and conflict management, I’ve built a solid foundation in people management, data interpretation, and workplace dynamics. Alongside my studies, I bring hands-on experience from customer-facing and team-based roles. As a volunteer with the Calgary Food Bank, I’ve worked in fast-paced environments that require organization, collaboration, and attention to detail while supporting community impact. In my current role as a cashier, I’ve developed strong communication skills, professionalism, and leadership through training and mentoring new employees. I’m currently building my HR skill set in areas such as recruiting coordination, interviewing, HR analytics, and ethical workplace practices. As a CPHR student member, I’m eager to continue learning and gaining practical experience through internships, projects, and entry-level HR opportunities. I’m always open to connecting with HR professionals, recruiters, and fellow students who are passionate about people, growth, and building strong workplace cultures.
