- Facilitated tribunal debrief sessions to identify successes and challenges faced by Assessment teams during the tribunal season. The final report and all recommendations were accepted by the Assessment Management Team, including continuous improvement opportunities for future tribunal debriefs, and the adoption of the approach used in this debrief for future initiatives. - Conducted an in-depth review of the benefits and challenges faced by splitting a larger valuation team into two smaller groups. Findings of the review were presented to the Assessment Management Team highlighting the benefits of smaller more focussed teams and the learnings of leaders that could be applied to similar future organizational changes. - Planning the facilitated approach for the Strategic Services and Employee Development team around the 2021 employee survey results, to identify recommendations and implementation strategies to help drive positive results for the team.

Projects: Website Re-Design (Jan 2021) • Provided client-focused web design services for the transformation of a business’s website to a more customer-centric, user-friendly design aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Test Reporting Initiative (Nov 2019 - Sep 2020) • Advised the client on enhancements for optimizing the process and gaining efficiencies through the elimination of redundant process steps. This project was delivered on schedule and on budget. Workforce Schedule Optimization and Automation (Apr 2018 - Jul 2019) • Created a Microsoft Excel based solution that met with the clients’ needs and requirements, was easily updatable and configurable, and provided for varying filter perspectives depending on their user needs. Employee Database Enhancement (Oct 2016 - Nov 2017) • Developed a Microsoft Excel based solution that provided the client with an easy to use, fit-for-purpose solution that met their needs and requirements and was delivered ahead of schedule and within budget. Work Crews Dispatch (Apr 2015 - May 2016) • Established a future state process map that clearly identified the complexity of the process steps with multiple hand-off points across various functional business units and captured possible areas of improvement for future discussion. Project was delivered on time and within budget.

• Developed workshop strategies to improve employee engagement and buy-in of a new operations management system being deployed within the division. • Partnered with the corporate information technology group to establish a technology roadmap for the Business Excellence area for the purpose of advancing technical solutions within the department. • Advised and refined the content of a strategic white paper to establish the background history, the urgent case for change, and challenges faced by stakeholders in the area of knowledge management within the organization.

• Facilitated workshops to establish risk management practices across a division and coordinated risk representatives to ensure the timely reporting of risks to senior leadership. Primary Project: Effective Decision-Making Pilot Project Details: The development and implementation of an effective decision-making framework within a division of over 1,000 office and field employees. • Strengthened the existing pilot materials to ensure the framework messaging was clear and would resonate with senior leaders and their respective direct reports. • Managed the implementation of the pilot across 50 business units within the division including train-the-trainer sessions and the facilitation of team workshops.

Primary Project: Risk Management Framework Development and Implementation Project Details: Established risk management practices in a division of over 1,000 employees to assist business units in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating high to extreme level risks within their area of scope. • Oversaw the development of the risk management framework, including the establishment of risk tools, processes and learning materials, and mentored risk representatives in the rolling out of risk management practices within their respective areas. • Established a community of practice for risk representatives through SharePoint to leverage industry best practices, share learnings, and provide peer-to-peer support. • Coached and mentored business units across the organization on risk management policies and practices and coordinated risk representatives in each area to ensure the timely reporting of high-level risks to the executive team. Secondary Project: Business Continuity Planning Project Project Details: To establish strategies for addressing unplanned disruptions to business operations for business-critical areas. • Headed a team of external consultants and representatives from across the division to identify business-critical areas within the organization and map out key processes for ongoing operations. • Oversaw the development and validation of business continuity plans with subject matter experts and ensured they were fully tested.

I took this degree part-time while working full time. The focus of my degree was primarily in the areas of opportunity evaluations, strategic business development and strategic planning.
