Title changed due to organization changes. Main focus on projects, but also on developing process and production.

Temporarily taking care for the tasks of colleague as fibre lines' Operations Manager role. New tasks include the department's personnel matters and customer service. Development Manager tasks in the background.

Master's thesis' topic: Effect of birch wood extractives on pulp production and their management by talc in pulp and paper mill integrate. Also continue summer's shift supervisor tasks when needed.

I worked at UPM Kymi pulp mill as a shift supervisor. My daily tasks were combination of human resourcing and ensuring product quality. Working on as a supervisor for about 25 person per shift and all different areas of pulp mill was great experience and I learned a lot of new things about pulp processes and acting as a supervisor.

I worked as a project engineer in the KYMI870 project. My area of ​​responsibility included a fiber line where I acted as a link between project group and production. My daily job consisted of controlling over the project works on site, making safety plans to ensure that maintenance work can be done safely and attending to meetings considering fall's shutdown (tie-in points) and by this way, ensuring that the project is on schedule. I was also member of commissioning team, which led process equipment testing and factory launching together with equipment supplier.

I worked in shifts as a field process operator of the fiber lines. Area of responsibility was very wide; working area consisted of the following process stages: continuous pulp digester (softwood/hardwood), batch digesters (softwood), screening, washing, bleaching and chlorine dioxide plant. My duties included general process monitoring in factory area, sampling and some maintenance tasks.

I worked in shifts as a field process operator of the fiber lines. After the summer, I got an extension to my contract and had a great opportunity to participate factory's maintenance shutdown in September. This two weeks period was very instructive and I learned a lot more about different process equipments.

I worked as a process operator and was responsible for a cobalt hydroxide production line. The daily part of my job consisted of taking samples, the overall control and adjusting of the production line according to the situation.
