Jonathon Jacome

Jonathon Jacome is a senior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Information Systems with a minor in the Hoeft Technology & Management Program. As a distinguished Gies Scholar and James Scholar, Jonathon exemplifies academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to driving innovation within the business community. Jonathon currently serves as a Customer & Operations (C & O) Advisory intern at KPMG, where he gains hands-on experience solving complex business challenges related to customer experience, operational strategy, and digital transformation. He is also a proud Gies Stewardship Ambassador, engaging with alumni and donors to strengthen the Gies community and support student success. In addition to his internship and ambassador role, Jonathon works with the Gies Admissions Team to mentor high school students and lead outreach efforts focused on underrepresented schools, fostering a more diverse and inclusive academic environment. Passionate about the intersection of technology and business, he leverages advanced tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and Microsoft Azure to drive data-informed decision-making and strategic innovation. Beyond academics and professional experience, Jonathon is an avid DJ and active participant in campus organizations promoting entrepreneurship and technology leadership, combining creativity with analytical skills to approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
