Experience

President
Guadalajara, Jalisco, México
Rising Ventures was created by two senior friends when I was a sophomore. They prepared an event where they invited a couple of young entrepreneurs and interviewed them at Mutuo's offices in Av. Naciones Unidas. I was later invited to be the president of the organization because the story of my business made them think that I was the indicated person for this position. The project's mission is to promote the entrepreneurship culture among teenagers and young adults in Guadalajara. We organize conferences where we invite young entrepreneurs and they share their experiences, life stories, or valuable lessons to the community. We will also start to share valuable content regarding entrepreneurship through out Instagram. We will work this year with ASFG to have High School students participating in the organization as club members in a variety of sectors. We envision Rising Ventures as the leader of entrepreneurship conferences among all high schools of Guadalajara.

Kid Mayor (Presidente municipal infantil)
Government of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco
Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, México
During my 5th grade in 15 de Mayo public school of Puerto Vallarta, I was chosen from all the 5th-grade classrooms based on an essay I wrote about the beauty of Vallarta to be part of the infantile municipal council of Vallarta and therefore participate in an oratory competition to compete for the places of President, Secretary, or Syndic besides being a common councilor. Many students from different public schools presented their speeches. I declaimed about the relevant position the city has in Mexican tourism and the importance of taking care of its beautiful beaches. This speech was delivered in the most wholesome and appealing way a 12-year-old could have done it. I won first place in the position of president. This is a recurring event that the local government organizes for the day of the children on April 30th every year. They reunite the best students of public schools to compete. During the first council meeting, I proposed law initiatives to implement ecological busses around the city's routes, putting cartels on the beaches so that tourists do not throw trash, and offer extracurricular classes regarding arts and culture in public schools. The local government invested significant quantities of money based on my initiatives. For the rest of the year, I participated as the keynote speaker at several memorable events celebrating important dates in Mexican History like the Day of the Flag or the anniversary of the birth of Miguel Hidalgo. This was crucial as I met many people from different economical and social backgrounds and realized that my passion was to serve.
