In support of the factory operation, designed C/Oracle based applications for automatic update of mission critical data such as parts ordering system using Pro C and shell scripts. Finished three projects successfully. Handled Y2K issues.

Completed a data-warehousing project to move large data from legacy system to Sybase system on daily basis. Created and tested stored procedures, SQL scripts, and triggers to automate daily movement of data. Worked with data converting tool (ETI) and scheduling tool (Autosys).

Enjoy building Korn shell script based, sas supporting enterprise tools for home pricing and report generations. Performed 2 years long production execution and analysis - fun activity although much stress can be received.

Mortgage personal loan application processing done in branch UNix servers in C, CDS database. Butler, Maestro are the names. Pull Credit report and load the data into DB, analyze each attribute compute the personal score, sell appropriate products and insurances - all done in the software.

* Application development using eMatrix, MQL, and Oracle8 in automating manufacturing processes. Wrote 12 Tcl based custom report routines to meet diverse customer requirements. Also designed GUI interface in automating Engineering process and document handling. Analyzed underlying table structure to recreate ERD of the complex database scheme. Completed ahead of schedule and was rewarded for successful release of system software. * Designed wizards screen interface * Programmed in Tcl to support report generation. * Shell script to help with backend operation. * Reverse engineering to create ERD.

Designed and implemented a portion of credit card processing software and supporting tools using C, Oracle 8, Perl on AIX platform. Was responsible for designing interface to perform real time transaction system based on Oracle. For a time critical component, created PL/SQL based stored procedures and triggers, and performed cost based query tuning. The goal was to improve real time performance and create consistent data across the 6 regions in the nation. Pro C and Impromptu report generator tool were also used daily. Performed some level of DBA role in user management, and defined future requirements in a team-based project. Has successfully completed massive migration of data/software from legacy system into AIX based server. Created cron based job scheduling and stored procedures to make daily transaction log available to the production support team. Gained configuration management expertise using SCCS and RCS. At the end of 2-year project, the migration was a success, the company stock shot up.
