• Led legal teams of over 80 attorneys, paralegals, project managers and admins. • Managed legal teams handling Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplemental, Medicaid, Affordable Care Act (ACA), US Commercial Medical coverages, and Group Insurance (disability/life). Managed broker issues. • Worked on regulatory issues in active legislative, political and judicial environment, including risk challenges to ACA. • Developed legal and regulatory framework to launch a new gene therapy drug offering to address prohibitively high cost of lifesaving drugs. • Created and chaired DE&I committee for legal department to set and meet DE&I goals.

• Led legal team handling expat health and life coverage for US citizens. • Provided critical advice to clients on regulatory and sales issues. • Implemented GDPR standards and addressed GDPR inquiries with clients/brokers. • Collaborated with the tax team on issues in multiple jurisdictions. • Elevated to senior leadership team.

• Grew and developed the Procurement Legal team handling domestic and international contracts. • Insourced legal procurement work to produce significant savings on outside counsel expense. • Served as lead Reinsurance attorney and managed major US and global arbitrations. • Advanced the Records Management Program and led training globally. • Successfully navigated several outsourcing transitions. • Worked with the Chief Marketing Officer on the launch of a new logo, rolled out across the globe.

• Directed major commercial litigation disputes and class actions involving investments, IP and software, M&A transactions and balance sheet issues, tax litigation, life insurance, 401(k) expenses, broker compensation, investigations, international commercial claims, and domestic and international reinsurance. • Established Records Management Program, developed records schedules, and trained records champions.
