* Secondment to The Co-Operative Bank with role including: * Responsible for implementing and managing a 'best in class' credit function for the non-performing side of the Bank including creation of processes and assisting the Bank with the design of the credit function and reporting required. * Assisting Head of CoAM Non Performing with specific projects including balance sheet stress testing; corporate loan recoverability assessments and liaising with the Bank auditors. * Assisting the Corporate relationship managers managing non-performing loans and providing case support * Providing adhoc ongoing technical assistance with regard to the strategies on cases (i.e. refinancing, debt sales, insolvency etc) and support to case managers after credit committee decisions

I work in PwC's Transaction Services, based in our Northern Deals practice, with a focus on Real Estate and Hospitality, with over 10 years of financial due diligence and capital markets work for corporates and a range of investors and lenders. I have also spent 12 months on secondment to a UK Bank advising them on their deleveraging strategy for their non-core Commercial Real Estate portfolio. In the last year I have advised on deals with assets including offices, logistic assets, shopping centres and hotels.

Jonathan has been working alongside the Tutor Trust since its inception, providing pro bono financial advice and mentoring. Right at the start he collaborated with Nick Bent and Abigail Shapiro developing the initial 3 year business plan, which helped the charity successfully obtain its first round of charitable funding. He is very excited to become a Trustee of Tutor Trust, and to work alongside the rest of the team, driving forward the strategy of narrowing the education attainment gap that exists in both primary and secondary for pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds.
