Architected an end-to-end GenAI investigation platform (AWS Bedrock + Strands, 7 agents) that auto-investigates API failures, workflow failures, and latency regressions across 306 production accounts — cutting investigation time from ~120 minutes to ~2 minutes and automating ~6 dev-years of operational work. Led multiple cost-reduction workstreams across Kubernetes-native observability infrastructure and EC2 instance allocation, delivering significant realized annual savings with additional workstreams in progress. Led a team of engineers designing an automated patching and migration system replacing manual fleet-wide operations — improving customer visibility, operator controls, and connector uptime. Built the team's GenAI infrastructure from scratch (MCP server, agent runtime, CDK hosting) — adopted by multiple AWS teams beyond MSK Connect. Served as ASBX AI Champion.

AWS's managed document database service with MongoDB compatibility. Engine-level contributor promoted from SDE I to SDE II during tenure. Designed and implemented change streams and ACID transactions for the DocumentDB 4.0 release — headline engine-level launch capabilities. Led logical session management implementation — the foundation for retryable writes, causal consistency, and cross-operation query tracking. Implemented public-facing aggregation operators (map, $reduce, $reverseArray, $ ROOT, $literal) to expand MongoDB API coverage; mentored engineers building their own operators.

Coordinate with Malibu Divers to lead customers on guided dives of local areas including the Malibu shoreline and the Channel Islands. Assist in teaching of new scuba students alongside instructors as they enter the ocean or preform the necessary diving skills.

Helped improve workflow through the adoption and implementation of cloud solutions to improve cross-location employee communication, file backups, and security. Assist with technical issues that any of the employees may encounter as well as ensure that each employee is utilizing the most up-to-date computer hardware and computer software.

Implement server and database functionality for their mobile applications using both SQL and Scala. Also assisted with the brainstorming of ideas alongside the team and witness the start of development of these concepts. Acquired skills in effectively and efficiently communicating with and working in a team of large people. This included working with version control software such as git and GitHub as well as additional communication tools like slack.
