Jonathan Harmsworth has been involved in the logistics / shipping industry for almost 16 years at the service of few renowned Logistics companies in Malta until 2012, after which he joined a small sized company (namely PBSERV Ltd), now forming part of a larger group of companies (PB GROUP) involved in the supply of sophisticated equipment and service to the Oil & Gas Industry with major clients mainly in the North African rim. With over twenty-five years of working experience in the logistics oil and gas sector, Jonathan is an expert in the field. He handles, oversees, and manages all the operational flows of PBSERV, together with its operational team, from initial client request, to procurement, tracking, daily communication, to final delivery and payment. He joined PB Group in 2012. With the Group having its own volume of logistics requirements, in 2014 it came natural to evolve further once again in creating / founding a third party logistics service company (PB GLOBAL) engaging few of the best people in the logistics industry in Malta with an outstanding talent pool in this business. We have created a team structure that enables us to cover all fields in this line of business with staff having various long standing experiences in the various sectors of the logistics industry. Supported by IATA qualified personnel, the company prides itself in being one of the very few International freight forwarders in Malta offering a comprehensive service to the North African rim, with reliable logistics services to Libya, operating a regular LCL Groupage service, Full Load containers, a Daily Express Courier Service, warehousing facilities, third-party logistic management (3PL), Project logistics management, procurement , consultancy amongst others. PB GLOBAL now houses the projects team which is in direct collaboration with the group's latest acquisition. The PB Group has in 2023 acquired the Thomas Smith Logistics and Insurance group of companies, one of the longest-established ( roots going back to 175 years) international logistics providers in Malta, offering comprehensive end-to-end logistics solutions across air, land, sea, and e-commerce.
