Key Accountabilities & Duties • Accountable for the supervision of all production staff. • Pro-active in following company procedures to achieve the safe production of high-quality product at pre-determined productivity levels. • Motivate and lead the shift, ensuring resource is allocated effectively to achieve current production objectives. • Follow Health and Safety & Environmental procedures and ensure the shift do the same. • Follow the personnel requirements of BRC AA grade accreditation. • Check that product produced by my shift in all departments is within the company specification issued for the specific product being ran. • Monitor production performance against plan and target, advise when delays or deviations to plan happen or targets cannot be achieved. • Ensure that production operations are carried out and controlled using established company validated procedures and processes. • Support the development of robust processes, controls, and procedures to improve productivity and quality. • Assist in the development of training plans and help to ensure adequate operator training is carried out. • Monitor the performance of the team and identify individuals training needs. • Support and encourage healthy working relationships and communication between shift and other departments. • Advise production manager of staff problems such as absenteeism, lateness, and conduct, taking action when urgent situations arise.

Adjustment of inks to set customer specifications, using x-rite software to ensure constant colour consistency. . Quality assessment including proof reading, dimensioning and colour management. . Ensuring that relevant consumables are utilised alongside the control and recording of waste. . Time management and prioritisation in order to fulfil costumer orders. . Use of SOP system to relay detailed job specification. . Responsible for passing and signing off all printed work across three presses, and ensuring that target times are achieved whilst maintaining quality and consistency.
