Leading a 2200 person global design team for HS2. I sit on the Exec Board of Balfour Beatty Vinci; an Integrated Project Team, shaped to deliver HS2.

I have followed U+I for many years, through the company’s merger in 2015. Our commitment to communities and creating great places is quite unique. Ironically, but by design, we are working in joint venture with my old company, Lovell, on two opportunities at present, which just goes to prove that great cultures tend to fit together.

I work with a company I have respected since I trained with them 30 years ago; a plc which is run with the direct control and compassion of a family business. Lovell is the partnership homes subsidiary of Morgan SINDALL plc and we deliver great futures for people in a truly personal way.

I joined Laing O'Rourke to learn from an outstanding family business, deeply committed to improving project delivery and the construction industry. My background of major projects, Government contracts and performance was focused on winning and delivering a single major project.

I work with fellow Partners and the CEO of PA Consulting to create new ways of advising Government and Private Sector customers. Our journey started as I introduced PA to Sir Ben Ainslie's America's Cup racing team, in one of the most technically challenging environments the World has to offer; vying for the World's oldest sporting trophy. Sound leadership, intelligent solutions and courage are what defines my approach to life's challenges.

Executive Director Capita plc and CEO of a major JV, which won the largest ever UK real estate deal; to become Strategic Partner to the Defence Infrastructure Organisation, running their £3.2bn/year operating budget and a £18bn estate.

Capita acquired Symonds Group in 2004. I ran the Management Division of Capita Symonds, until appointed as MD in May 2007. We secured major commissions on London 2012 Olympics, Wembley National Stadium and for Exxon Mobil Global Real Estate

I joined Symonds as the new main Board Director, to help lead the team through an MBO. We secured some major projects, grew profits by 800% and sold the business to Capita in 2004. This triggered my ten year career at Capita.

I joined Mace, as Project Director of British Airways’ £350m World CargoCentre, which was successfully handed to British Airways in January 1999, below budget and on time. I then worked with a team of three Mace Directors to set up Mace International. BA World CargoCentre was the largest single construction project in Europe, at a time of recession.
