About
In my most recent position I managed systems used by command centers and sailors. Prior to that, I worked for GDIT from 2019 to 2024. I worked on multiple projects that the company had been contracted by the government to support operators. I originally obtained my clearance from the Department of Defense while working at GDIT. I ran automated tests using the CATT and ATRT testing tools, and performed regression testing as well. I performed integration testing, to ensure changes to one component of the project did not affect the others. I also wrote, reviewed, and wrote unit tests for Java code on one of the projects I worked on. For a period of time I also worked with JavaScript on the UI side of the project. I obtained CompTIA Security+ Certification while working for GDIT. Prior to that experience, I worked as a Support Engineer at Descartes Systems Group from December of 2017 until July of 2019. I wrote code for shipping applications to integrate systems like NetSuite and Quickbooks with carrier software programs like UPS WorldShip and FedEx ShipManager. I added custom logic at customer request, and I debugged integration issues, both by remoting into customer stations to assist and by sending live updates to their applications. I am willing to learn any language. I've used Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, Python, and a proprietary language owned by Descartes Systems called OzEXE. I have worked with reading and sending XML Web Services requests/responses from systems like NetSuite. That is in addition to the automated testing tools that I have worked with in my time at GDIT. I have experience working on Windows and Linux based systems. Recreationally, I have had the pleasure of building my own computer.

I have worked at GDIT for a couple of years, working on projects the government would contract the company to create. I have been in a number of roles, such as my role as an automated tester using tools such as CATT and ATRT. I have also written and reviewed code for the company, with most of my work being written in Java and JavaScript. As part of my job I regularly performed integration testing to ensure that changes to one component of the project did not affect the performance of the other units.
