Mainroad Chinook Contracting delivers highway maintenance on the Calgary South East Stoney Trail (SEST) including 36 kilometres of six-lane freeway, nine interchanges, one road flyover, two rail flyovers, and 27 bridge structures in an urbanized and rapidly growing region. Mainroad Alberta (Vermillion) Contracting will deliver two highway maintenance contracts with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors including 4,600 lane-kilometres of provincial highways, 1 interchange, and 60 bridges within Contract Maintenance Areas 512 and 513 starting August 1, 2026.

Senior engineering manager responsible for the safe and efficient operation of provincial highways in MTO Central Region (i.e. Greater Golden Horseshoe), including 7,100 lane-km of highways and 1,400 structures on some of the busiest highways in North America. Led and managed the Highway Operations Office to deliver highway corridor management, maintenance, minor capital construction, operational services, and emergency management.

Senior engineering manager responsible for developing and implementing provincial policies, specifications, and performance requirements for effective highway maintenance delivery, oversight and performance measurement. Led research projects and development of I&IT tools to support the effective delivery of the highway maintenance program.

Senior engineering manager responsible for developing and implementing provincial policies, contract documents, and performance requirements for construction, highway engineering and contract administration contracts including consultation with external stakeholders. Provided expert advice to MTO Qualification Committee senior executives to support decisions on MTO Qualification Procedures, contractor/consultant Infraction Reports, and performance appraisal appeals.

Senior engineering manager responsible for delivery of provincial summer and winter highway maintenance, minor rehabilitation, and preservation in MTO Central Region including 7,100 lane-km of highways and 1,400 structures.

Provided strategic recommendations and advice to the Assistant Deputy Minister of Provincial Highways Management for the management of complex issues. Ensured effective coordination and communication of issues with the Minister's Office and Deputy Minister's Office, ministry executives, central agencies, other ministries, and external parties.

Engineering manager responsible for delivery of provincial highway infrastructure capital construction and maintenance contracts in the Toronto and Niagara areas including resolution of contract disputes and claims.

Engineering supervisor responsible for leading a team of technical professionals in the review and approval of development applications adjacent to provincial highways and municipal and utility encroachments within the highway right-of-way including associated highway improvements.

Led large, multi-disciplinary project teams to successfully deliver highway and bridge detail design projects completed both by consultant designers and in-house design teams.
