Hired as a Sr. Electrical Engineer to help with growing, privately-owned ambulance manufacturer. Responsible for new product development of electrical systems and mentoring of electricians and electrical team leads. • Direct report to VP of Engineering with responsibility of providing technical, engineering, project management, and software development competencies needed to successfully execute project pipeline allowing company to remain leader in ambulance manufacturing industry. • Trained and mentored up to 40 electricians, electrical engineering analysts, electrical engineering liaison, and electrical engineering technicians. Provided engineering and troubleshooting support as needed. • Led development of 12VDC and 120VAC power distribution and lighting of ambulance box units, including routing of harnesses. • Led development of analog relay control circuits and programming of digital multiplexing control modules. • Established open communications with other departments, in order to increase the throughput, reduce rejects, and speed-up product development lifecycle.
